‘Authenticity’, the third album for The Foreign Exchange, has debuted at no.1 on the iTunes R&B chart in the USA.
The Foreign Exchange formed in 2002 when rapper/singer/songwriter Phonte Coleman and producer Nicolay Rook hooked up online. The two did not even meet face to face until after the first album was recorded.
Earlier this year, The Foreign Exchange were nominated for a Grammy Award for their song ‘Daykeeper’.
This Friday, uctv.fm will premiere part 1 of the making of ‘Authenticity’, directed by Sandrine Orabona, the videographer for Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’.
‘Authenticity’ was released on Tuesday.
