Beardy folk man Iron & Wine switches labels and announces next album.
Iron & Wine, aka Samuel Beam, broke through on his 2007 album The Shepherd’s Dog and is readying his fourth album, dubbed Kiss Each Other Clean.
The news comes on the back of the announcement that he’s switched labels from Sub Pop to Warner Bros in the US and 4AD for the rest of the world.
It’s been a while since Iron & Wine had anything new, but there was a stop-gap b-sides and rareties compilation Around The Well last year.
Fans will have to wait a little bit longer. Kiss Each Other Clean won’t be out until early next year.
Before then, Beam tours the US and has plotted a European tour for early next year.
