The $25,000 Australian Music Prize has today announced the long list of 25 finalists.
Artists that have made the list tend to lean more towards more established names, although a few completely unknowns have made it in.This list will be re-judged by the official AMP judges and narrowed down to a list of 8. That shortlist will then be re-judged again and one final award of $25,000 will be presented.
