Eminem’s publisher has filed a suit against Apple, demanding that they pay more than $US2.2 million in a settlement over iTunes downloads.
The settlement, which was reported by The Detroit News, has grown to more than $US2.2 million, according to court records, although exact details of the case remain sketchy.
The rapper’s publisher, Eight Mile Style, filed a request last Tuesday with a U.S. District Court judge in Detroit.
It is unclear who is responsible for paying the settlement as of yet.
It is not the first time Eminem has had a disagreement with Apple. In 2003, the company used Eminem’s #1 song ‘Lose Yourself’ in an ad that appeared on MTV for three months, as well as on their official website.
