Paul Kelly has been confirmed as the headliner for the 4th annual EG Awards.
Kelly is an unstoppable songwriting force in Australia with a book of his lyrics studied in Victorian high schools as part of their curriculum guaranteeing his success with younger generations.
It will be his first headline set with a full band in Melbourne for two years.
Other artists appearing on the night will be Gareth Liddiard (The Drones), Megan Washington, Adalita (Magic Dirt), Spencer P. Jones and Paul’s nephew Dan Kelly, who will each play one of their own songs as well as a Paul Kelly cover while they front the EG Allstars Band.
The night will be MCd by RocKwiz’s Brian Nankervis.
The event will take place at the Prince of Wales Hotel in St. Kilda on Wednesday, 16th of December 2010.
