Kylie Minogue has topped Glamour Magazine's Best Dressed poll as her first live album is released in the UK.
Australia's pop princess bumped Kate Moss off the top of the list of 2005. Editor Jo Elvin said, "We've seen a newer, softer-looking Kylie emerge this year - she's still sexy, but she's not flaunting that side of herself in gold hotpants any more." She beat out Victoria Beckham, Nicole Richie, Moss at four, Sienna Miller, Mischa Barton, Jennifer Aniston, Rachel Bilson, Kate Hudson and the ludicrously garbed Gwen Stefani. This "honour" follows her comeback show in the UK on New Year 's Eve, playing to 12,000 fans at Wembley Arena. She continues to play another six dates at Wembley and six in Manchester.
Her UK label Parlophone has also released her first ever live album (although she has released live DVDs before). Dubbed 'Showgirl Homecoming Live' it showcases performances from her November return shows in Sydney. Released in the UK on January 8, the double disc features 29 of her greatest hits as well as covers like 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow', 'When You Wish Upon A Star' and Madonna's 'Vogue', as well as her 'Kids' duet with Bono.
