Motown star Lionel Richie will fly to Melbourne, Australia this weekend to perform at the AFL Grand Final replay.
Last weekend, football fans worst nightmare happened when the Grand Final between St Kilda and Collingwood ended in a draw.
The Australian Football League (not ones to miss an opportunity to make more money) decided to replay the match this weekend instead of allowing extra time.
Last weekend, 100,018 fans attended the match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Richie will perform at the match in Melbourne after just a few days notice to fly across the planet.
This is only the third draw for the AFL in history. The last in 1977 was between North Melbourne and Collingwood. The previous was in 1948 between Melbourne and Essendon.
