Mos Def appears for a festival in Hobart at the start of January.
The left-field hip-hop icon is the surprise addition to a mostly rearranged line-up of acts that are appearing at other festivals over the New Year’s period.
This includes a DJ set from Basement Jaxx, as well as Midnight Juggernauts, Mystery Jets, Blue King Brown, Operator Please, Born Ruffians, Sparkadia, Yacht Club DJs and more.
The fourth year of the festival kicks off on Saturday January 8 next year at the Hobart Regatta Grounds.
The best news is that there’s no way Mos Def is only visiting Australia for a Tasmanian festival, so expect him to either be added to other festivals, or do side shows.
