Soundwave’s second announcement continues this monstrous rock festival’s winning ways.
Excuse us if we're getting breathless, but a bill that already has Slayer, Iron Maiden, Queens Of The Stone Age, Slash, Primus and more doesn't need much help. But they can't be stopped. Soundwave has announced additional acts that would be a fine festival all by itself.
First up, Zack de la Rocha of Rage Against The Machine's new project One Day As A Lion will join the bill.
Then, add classic thrash revisionists Bullet For My Valentine, metalcore kings Bring Me The Horizon, horror punks Murderdolls, and Norwegian black metal legends Dimmu Borgir.
Not enough? How about Swedish pop punk masters Millencolin, emo prog artisans Coheed & Cambria, and Oz heroes The Amity Affliction.
My personal favourite addition: Canadian hardcore experimentalists Fucked Up.
Then Feeder, H20, The Rocket Summer, Saxon, Silverstein and We The Kings.
If you haven't got tickets yet, you'd be a fool to miss out now.
