Maynard James Keenan has revealed that Tool will return to the studio and Puscifer are planning a very creative DVD.
To Puscifer's DVD first: Keenan told Spin magazine that he has enlisted a group of oddballs to make episodes featuring "performances and characters and animation".The eclectic group will include Ron Livingston (of Band Of Brothers and Office Space), Lizzy Caplan (True Blood), as well as Milla Jovovich, cvomedian Brian Posehn and Primus drummer Tim Alexander.
He recently filmed an indie comedy called Queens Of Country with Livingston and Caplan.
He said, "I showed them some of stuff we were doing with Puscifer and of course those guys were totally like, 'We wanna do something!' So hopefully I can hold them to their drunken word."
Puscifer's DVD will emerge early next year.
He also noted that Tool are heading back into the studio, with the other three members of the band currently writing, and Keenan saying he'll be "popping back into LA soon to check in."
