Expect rare live footage on DVD in October for rock legends AC/DC and the Ramones.
Billboard reports that the forthcoming AC/DC retrospective titled 'Plug Me In' will be released on October 16. The double DVD will feature five hours of concert and live performances.The first disc promises rare footage of their early years, including a performance at St.Alban's High School, their first UK TV appearance in 1976, early clips, a Dutch TV performance and interviews from the era.
The second disc focuses on the Brian Johnson years, with a Japanese TV slot, live performances from Detroit to Moscow to Toronto as well as 2003 jam with the Rolling Stones. A limited-edition version will feature yet another disc of live footage.
The Ramones live anthology is slated for an October 2 release through Rhino Records. 'It's Alive 1974 - 1996' features over 100 tunes performed live across the world and their entire career. The double disc covers their early CBGBs performance in 1974 through European shows in 1978 all the way up to a Buenos Aires stadium show in 1996.
