Dave Mustaine of Megadeth says it would be really cool to become the Erin Brockovich of the music business and go after people who hurt bands. He hates it when people in the industry refer to him as “product”.
"I think it would be cool to be an entertainment attorney who hurts people who destroy bands," he tells Undercover News. "Like Erin Brokovich but basically go after the music industry people who hurt bands. I think that would be really cool. Now, I don't want to make any enemies because I have a lot of friends in the music industry but it is the principle behind the band when you start calling them product. They are people. I am a person".Mustaine got really riled when he was referred to as a "product" from someone from his record company. "I remember somebody from EMI in Germany called us "product" one time and if it wasn't a woman I would have punched her in the face. It was really, really insulting because we are people," he said.
