Peter Gabriel has cancelled his upcoming Australian show after poor ticket sales.
The tour comes off the back of a string of disasters for promoter Andrew McManus following on from the New Kids On The Block cancellation, poor ticket sales for Dr Phil and hideous reviews of the expensive Whitney Houston shows.Instead of completely cancelling the event, McManus will continue on with the show scheduled for November 1 in Melbourne with acts including Daryl Braithwaite, Blue King Brown, Danielle Spencer and with Brian Wilson replacing Peter Gabriel.
The official reason for the Gabriel withdrawal is "scheduling issues".
