Alt roots band The Audreys have been hard at work in the studio with Shane O’Mara recording their third album, ‘Sometimes The Stars’.
The band have whittled themselves down to the core songwriting duo of Taasha Coates and Tristan Goodall with a number of musicians joining them on the album and the road.Guest appearances come from Tim Rogers on 'Lonesome Valley' and jazz pianist Paul Grabowsky on 'Poorhouse' amongst others.
The cover features a floating Taasha and a sleepy Tristan in an empty theatre with a beautiful art deco font spelling out the band name. Touch wood that is the last empty theatre they'll see for a while.
The album will be in stores on Friday, October 8 and will be available digitally, on CD and following the success of the vinyl reissues of the first two records, on vinyl as well.
