Eighties London synthpop chart-toppers Erasure cash in their cred with a new album.
Erasure have long been revered as new wave and synthpop legends, and when that trend returned in the ‘00s, Andy Bell and Vince Clarke were often cited by acts of today as a big influence.
After a four year break, Erasure have been warmly embraced during their London comeback shows, and have booked a series of UK and Europe shows as the Total Pop! Tour throughout June and July.
And while they’ve been slipping out albums for the last twenty years veering more towards dance music, they are also working on their first record since 2007’s Light At The End Of The World.
Clarke and Bell are currently in the studio with young electropop producer Frankmusik and are planning for the release of their new album in September.
