Producer Mike Stock, best known for his work as part of songwriting team Stock, Aitken and Waterman has lashed out at the sexualisation of pop and warned of the danger it poses to children.
"These days you can't watch modern stars like Britney Spears or Lady Gaga with a two-year-old," he told the Daily Mail."Ninety-nine per cent of the charts is R'n'B and 99 per cent of that is soft pornography."
He also took issue with young stars, including Miley Cyrus, for their over-mature appearance.
Stock was at least partially responsible for writing and/or producing hits from Rick Astley, Kylie Minogue, Bananarama, Dead Or Alive, Mel and Kim, Donna Summer, Jason Donovan and more.
Most recently, he wrote 'That Sounds Good To Me', which was the U.K.'s entry into the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest.
Pop music isn't THAT sexualised? Is it?
