Dapples Cities have landed themselves the listener-voted prestige of having BBC Radio 2’s ‘Record of the Week’ with their single ‘The Price’.
It was played on the Radcliffe and Maconie show, where listeners vote for their favourite new music. Amongst the competition was Damon Albarn's much loved Gorillaz.The track comes from their 'Zounds' album, which has been out in Australia for almost a year, but is due to hit stores in the UK on August 22.
While the UK is only now going to get the pop bliss of Zounds, Australian fans can look forward to new material while the band hit the road with the Midnight Juggernauts next month.
