Lindsay Lohan will spend 90 days in the slammer for violating her probation in a drug case.
Lohan cried when she heard the sentence handed down in a Los Angeles court today from Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel.Lohan violated probation in 2007 after failing to attend alcohol education classes. She was to attend a weekly class for 27 weeks but skipped classes.
The judge said Lohan lied about her drug and alcohol usage and then missed court in May. She claimed she was stuck in France because she lost her passport.
Lohan must surrender on July 20 and begin her 90-day sentence. When released, she has been ordered to begin a residential substance abuse program.
