Dream Inc. Music Workshops kicked off in Melbourne last year to give aspiring musicians a chance to learn from industry bigwigs, and now it’s back.
Organisers Michael Parisi and David Jaanz (of the David Jaanz School of Singing) have invited Michael Gudinski, Marcia Hines, Connie Mitchell and Angus McDonald from Sneaky Sound System and Dan Sultan to “impart their knowledge, wisdom and sage advice” to 200 participants.EMI, Sony, Warner and Universal all have demo deals on offer to singers and songwriters who show promise and in 2010 there will be a stronger focus on individual attention for all participants.
The workshops will be held on August 14 and 15 at the Parkview Hotel, 562 St. Kilda Rd, Melbourne and are supported by Beyond Blue.
If you’re sick of playing in your bedroom and want to pick the brains of people who have clawed their way through the music industry, this is your chance, but remember there are only 200 tickets available and if you want one, you had better click here and get one now.
