It might seem like it has happened in the blink of an eye, but Melbourne’s Deaf Wish are calling it quits.
After an awesome life-span, bass player Nick ‘Soulboy’ Pratt is indefinitely heading off to Perth, a move described on their MySpace as “like breaking into prison”.After two albums, a VHS single (seriously) and loads of legendary gigs, including a spot at Golden Plains and nailing the support slot for Dinosaur Jr’s Australian tour earlier this year, the band will give themselves one last farewell blast at Yah Yahs on May 29.
