Steven Drozd of The Flaming Lips was hopsitalised yesterday, forcing the band to cancel all upcoming shows.
The reason for Drozd’s hopsitalisation has not yet been made public, but he recently tweeted “Thank you, everyone, for your concern. I had to do this and I'm getting it together.”The band’s Facebook page told fans “Steven Drozd of THE FLAMING LIPS has been hospitalized and will be unable to perform. Doctors are expecting a full recovery within a few weeks.”
Unfortunately this means the band will not be playing the following shows:
MAY
1 - Beale Street Festival, Memphis, TN
15 - Hangout Festival, Gulf Shore, AL
