The Avatar DVD has sold over 6.7 million copies after being on sales for just four days in the United States.
The DVD has done a figure not even seen in the music industry in its peak a decade ago.Comparing Avatar to the number one album by Justin Bieber last week, Bieber’s ‘My World 2.0’ sold 92,000 copies last week and in the four weeks it has been on sales has sold a total of 760,000 copies in the USA.
Avatar is now already the best selling Blu-Ray disc of all-time.
It has also sold 2.7 million more discs than ‘The Dark Knight’, the previous biggest selling Blu-Ray of all-time, has done in 16 months.
