The forth studio album from The Cat Empire has been christened `Cinema`.
‘Cinema` was recorded in the band’s hometown Melbourne at Sing Sing Studios with producer Steven Schram (Little Birdy/The Custom Kings).For the very first time, some of these new songs from The Cat Empire were written by the entire band.
Singer Felix Riebi describes ‘Cinema’ as, “At times it's thoughtful, at other times it makes you want to just forget and dance. It's got more sonic depth than what we've recorded before. It's very experimental in parts but it also has some really simple direct chorus'. It's going to be a great album to play live, especially on big stages and at festivals.”
The Cat Empire will commence a world tour in North America in July.
