Adam Yauch of Beastie Boys fame has bought the rights to a movie about the Holocaust.
The Jewish rapper, who is recovering from his battle with cancer, used his production company Oscilloscope to purchase the rights to ‘A Film Unfinished’.He told the Hollywood Reporter that the film “affected me”. "It's an incredibly powerful film, not just because of the rare Nazi propaganda footage it shows, but also the captivating way the filmmakers tell the story," he said.
Yauch plans to give the movie a general release in the USA in August.
