Sonic Youth front man Thurston Moore will be giving a lecture on noise to kids aged eight to twelve.
The lecture will take place this Sunday, April 11 at 11:30am at the Avant Garde Preschool - a monthly session for young kids in New York set up by The Great Jones Street gallery run by Andy Spade and Anthony Sperduti.Since Moore will presumably be speaking about the joys of avant garde noise, you might want to seriously consider the ramifications of this lecture as you’re trying to get some sleep the next morning.
All proceeds will go towards the arts program of PS 126 - The Manhattan Institute of Technology.
