Ryan Adams has announced plans to make a metal album, and has a song streaming for you to sample it.
Sounding something like the flashy garage rock ‘n’ roll to come out of Sydney in the 80s fronted by Ronnie James Dio trying to sound modern, Adams lets his rock ‘n’ roll edge rip in a more serious and interesting way than his 2003 album ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll’.The project is called ‘Orion’ and for a one-time metal head who mellowed out in later years like myself, is actually pretty awesome.
It says on his website, “We're going to begin pressing ORION ? my most legit METAL record ? on vinyl next week. Have a listen to the song below and let us at PAXAM know if you'd be interested in purchasing one.”
