Guess who`s back? Back again. J.D.`s back. Tell a friend. Yes folks, INXS and J.D. Fortune have kissed and made up, at least for one show.
INXS will be rocking up to play in Vancouver next week (February 24) for the Winter Olympics and their reality show winner J.D. Fortune will be once again fronting the band.J.D. lost his fortune when his INXS partnership disintegrated in February last year, exactly 12 months ago. Fortune claimed he was sacked by the band and was living homeless in his car as a result.
The following week, INXS manager Chris Murphy rebutted the claim stating”Not only are we shocked by the claims, even the place the supposed incident was to have taken place is a mystery to the band."
The Vancouver show at the BC Place on February 24 will be the first show of what INXS is calling the start of a major world tour although no other tour dates have been announced at this stage.
INXS is about to release a new album of their own songs sung with guest singers like Rob Thomas and Brandon Flowers. Fortune is not expected to have a song on the album.
Meanwhile, a release for Fortune’s solo album ‘The Death of a Motivational Speaker’ seems to have disappeared as well. The album was due a year ago but has not been released. Also, the URL for the album thedeathofamotivationalspeaker.com has gone dead.
