Jean Flowers, the mother of The Killers singer Brandon Flowers has passed away.
The Killers had cancelled shows, including Asia and Australian dates because of “an illness in the family”. We now know that it was Brandon’s mother who was ill. Jean died on February 11 after a two year battle with brain cancer. She was 64.Dates for the Killers on the Good Vibrations Festival in Australia last weekend were cancelled as well as the sideshows in Perth and Sydney.
However, Good Vibrations publicist Clare Beatty assures Undercover that the band will still headline Good Vibrations on the Gold Coast and in Melbourne this weekend.
These will be the final shows for the Killers. After these dates they are going in 'hiatus'.
