`Avatar`, `Fantastic Mr. Fox`, `The Hurt Locker`, `Sherlock Holmes`, and `Up` are the five movies with music scores nominated for an Academy Award this year.
Composers in for the Oscar for Music (Original Score) are James Horner for ‘Avatar’, Alexandre Desplat for ‘Fantasic Mr. Fox’, Marco Beltrami and Buck Sanders for ‘The Hurt Locker’, Hans Zimmer for ‘Sherlock Holmes’ and Michael Giacchino for ‘Up’.Singer songwriter Ryan Bingham was also nominated for an Oscar for his song ‘The Weary Kind’ from ‘Crazy People’ for the Music (Original Song).
The Academy Awards will be held on Sunday March 7.
