The forum at the official Gorillaz website has been hacked by someone using the nick NatalieDiaz499.
Forum channels including ‘The Band’, ‘The Music’ and ‘The Videos’ have been overrun with topics about escort agencies and linking to porn sites.The Gorillaz hacker posted the topic and links in the channels on Thursday and as of today they are all still live.
This comes at a time when Gorillaz are preparing to release their third album ‘Plastic Beach’ in March.
Damon Albarn’s cartoon band will have an all-star line-up with collaborations with Lou Reed, Barry Gibb, Snoop Dogg, Mos Def and Bobby Womack.
Albarn has described the album as “my most pop record ever”.
