Children Collide will have Youth on their side when they head into the studio next month to record their second album.
Youth, the bass player from Killing Joke and 50% of The Fireman with Paul McCartney, has produced for The Music, The Verve, Dido, U2, Marilyn Manson, Crowded House and Embrace.He has also co-written a song for the next Missy Higgins album.
Children Collide released their first album ‘The Long Now’ in October 2008.
They have performed around the world including SXSW and last year had a song on the EA Sports game Fifa 10.
Rob Schanpf (Beck, The Vines) will mix the second record.
This year they will head back to SXSW in March as well as showcase at Canadian Music Week.
