Last week I pointed you in the direction of a couple of really great music videos, and I figured it’s time to do a couple more.
Melbourne band Children Collide have reigned in the talents of Animal Kingdom director David Michôd for the video to their song ‘Loveless’.
The clip is a single-shot video of singer John McKay looking like the Batman character The Joker getting his head shaved and makeup removed against his will. The clip is pretty eerie and shows that Johnny has not only musical talents, but some acting chops as well.

The other video you really should see is Social Distortion’s ‘Machine Gun Blues’. In contrast to the Children Collide video, this one is elaborate and consists of a detailed plot where the band robs a bank and a very cool chase ensues.
I’m quite convinced that this video is just Mike Ness and co living out their childhood dreams of being in a good old fashioned gangster movie, but that’s okay with me. If you have a spare seven and a half minutes, check out ‘Machine Gun Blues’ below:
