One day after the death of Avenged Sevenfold drummer Jimmy ‘The Rev’ Sullivan the coroner`s office has said the tests are so far inconclusive.
Sullivan was found at his Huntington Beach home at around 1pm on Monday December 28. He lived there with his wife Leana MacFadden.Just days earlier, Sullivan attended a friends wedding. He also recently had laser eye surgery and bought himself a new car.
Avenged Sevenfold formed in 1999 in Huntington Beach, California. The band’s manager Larry Jacobson described the members as being as close as brothers.
In a statement, the band said, “Jimmy was not only one of the world's best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy's family and we hope you will respect their privacy during this difficult time."
The toxicity results confirming the cause of death are now not expected for some weeks.
