Those of us who dug the debut album from Them Crooked Vultures will be pleased to know that it was not just a one-off.
The band, featuring Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), Josh Homme (QOTSA) and John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), can’t help themselves.“You put the three of us together in a room [and] something is going to happen," Dave Grohl told the BBC. “I don't think we'll have any trouble making five, six, seven records. It's just a matter of when and where and how."
Grohl must enjoy being back behind a drum kit. While he was the drummer for Nirvana in the early 90s, he has only sporadically gone back to the skins, playing on Killing Joke’s ‘Death and Resurrection Show’, Queens of the Stoneage’s ‘Songs For The Deaf’, a one-off side project called Probot and even jumping up with David Bowie to perform ‘Hallo Spaceboy’ at his 50th birthday.
But it seems like he is behind the skins a little more permanently this time. “I wouldn’t stop doing it. It’s a fun band to be in,” he said.
