The Bundles are a relatively unknown band from New York who are finally going to have their debut album released.
It features Kimya Dawson on vocals, who shot to fame in 2008 with a few songs on the ‘Juno’ soundtrack, singer/songwriters Jeffery Lewis and Karl Blau, as well as Anders Griffen and Jeffery’s brother Jack Lewis.In March 2009, Dawson wrote on her blog “Some of you may know that 8 years ago a band called The Bundles came to be. It's me, Jeffrey Lewis, Jack Lewis, and Anders Griffen. We played a bunch of shows, mostly overseas, but never properly recorded our songs. We have welcomed Karl Blau into the fold and spent the last 2 days at Dub Narcotic Studio recording a 10 song album. Tomorrow we put on the finishing touches.

Although the album had its “finishing touches” put on earlier this year, the band is being resurrected from way back in 2001.
We can expect to see a release in early 2010.
