The Flaming Lips are continuing their obsession with birth through their bizarrely tantalising new video to ‘Watching The Planets’.
The video is the result of an open call to indie kids in the Portland area to come to the forest, strip off and ride bikes around.The video features Wayne Coyne in a bubble (just like the one he shoots over the crowd in on their ‘Embryonic’ tour) wandering around the forest, before being accosted by a bunch of naked bike riders born from some kind of giant vagina monster.
Ladies and so-inclined men, it is also your chance to check out the 48 year old Coyne completely naked.
On top of having a very birth-infused video, calling their album 'Embryonic' and having the band be born onto the stage, the Flaming Lips have also released a Silver Trembling Foetus Christmas Tree Ornament
