Tiger Woods used the song `Mr Brightside` by The Killers as his alias when calling one of his girlfriends.
The Killers guitarist Dave Keuning wrote the song about singer Brandon Flowers ex-girlfriend who was cheating on him.It appeared on the first Killers album ‘Hot Fuss’.
Flowers told Q Magazine this year "I was asleep and I knew something was wrong. I have these instincts. I went to the Crown and Anchor and my girlfriend was there with another guy."
A former boyfriend of Woods former girlfriend told the Herald Sun that Woods would call himself “Mr. Brightside” whenever he called. He claims Woods took the name from The Killers knowing the meaning of the song.
