Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain has opened his first restaurant in Coral Springs, Florida, USA with friend and fellow drummer.
The joint venture between McBrain and local Florida guitarist “Moby” Rick Baum, who will be “the lunatic Running this place, Chef/Operator, BBQ and Rock N Roll connoisseur,” according to the restaurant’s official site.“Rock N Roll Ribs satisfies two of our great passions - food and music, and what better tastes then BBQ and Rock n Roll,” the page says. “Rock n Roll Ribs concentrates on a simple yet exciting high quality menu of both.”
So what does Nicko McBrain bring to the fold? Well, Nicko brings his vast musical knowledge and powerful name toà Rock n Roll Ribs,” and he also as a “passion for great BBQ”.
In my personal dining experience, artist owned restaurants aren’t all that great, but hey, if I’m ever in Coral Springs, I’ll go and get me some ribs.
