Iron Maiden’s personal Boeing 757 ‘Ed Force One’ touched down in Melbourne this morning.
The metal icons are in the country headlining the monstrously heavy Soundwave bill, and they always visit in style.
The Boeing 757 transports the bands huge crew and stage set-up (up to twelve tonnes of equipment) around the world, piloted by Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson.
For those who haven't cottoned on to the 'Ed Force One' title, Eddie is the band's mummified, zombiefied mascot.
The band touched down in Melbourne this morning, from a jaunt in Singapore where critics have justifiably been raving about their live extravaganza.
Final tickets have been released for their two Soundwave sideshows: tomorrow, Wednesday 23 February at Melbourne’s Hisense Arena and Thursday 24 February at Sydney’s Entertainment Centre.
