Weezer singer Rivers Cuomo has suffered minor injures after the Weezer tour bus skidded across an icey New York freeway on Sunday.
The accident happened near Amsterdam, New York at around 7:30am on the New York State Thruway.There had been around 2 inches of snow overnight.
Cuomo’s wife and two-year old daughter were also on the bus but were not injured.
Rivers was taken to nearby St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam and was treated for minor injuries.
Weezer had played in Toronto and were on the way to their next gig in Boston.
