Lindsay McDougall, aka the Doctor, will chair the drive-time program on Triple J from January 4th.
Triple J will take on the radio world with a brand new line-up in 2010 following the departure of Robbie Buck to 702 ABC Sydney.Tom Ballard & Alex Dyson will take over the breakfast show.
With Buck’s departure and the Doctor’s move to the 3pm slot, the other third of the 2009 breakfast show Marieke Hardy will come off air at Triple J but continue to world on for her TV series for ABC1.
Current drive-time jock Scott Dooley will be leaving the station.
In a statement, Triple J manager Ann Chesterman said, “We're all really looking forward to 2010, the line-up is very strong and we'll be working on the audience growth we've seen in the past 4 years - it's exciting times."
This year Triple J had its most successful year ever with 1.3 million listeners recorded across Australia by Nielsen.
