Australian Idol runner-up Hayley Warner has signed with Sony Music and will release her debut album in early 2010.
“I am really stoked to be signing to Sony Music and to be able to make a record with these guys. Sony Music have the coolest acts ever!” she said in a statement.The first taste of Hayley will be the single ‘Good Day’, to be released on December 11.
Denis Handlin AM, Chairman & CEO, Sony Music Entertainment Australia & New Zealand commented on the signing, “Hayley has great enthusiasm and energy and brings a unique performance style that the public have really responded to. We look forward to working with her on her first album which will be released in 2010.”
2009 Australian Idol winner Stan Walker has already released his first single ‘Black Box’. It debuted at number 2 in Australia this week.
His album ‘Introducing Stan Walker’, featuring songs from the show, will be released on December 11 as well.
