Australian Idol V7.0 Stan Walker scored an okay but not great first week on the chart considering the song was only available for 4 days of the chart week.
‘Black Box’ by Stan Walker sold 15,533 units which was almost double the first week sales Wes Carr had last year with ‘You’. The Carr song sold 8,292 over the same period.Walker debuted at number two behind Kei$ha ‘Tik Tok’ which sold 19,841 across a full seven days of sales.
As a physical disc, Stan Walker was at number one with 1,392 physical CDs sold in the 4-day period.
Stan Walker's debut album 'Introducing Stan Walker' will be released on December 14.
