Creed spared no expense when filming their new live DVD. 239 HD cameras were used.
To mark the band’s reunion and new album ‘Full Circle’, Creed appeared at the Cynthia Woods Pavilion on September 25, 2009 and performed for 18,000 fans.Director Dan Catullo used what is called ‘The Big Freeze’ technology to capture the show. That included 200 Nikon still cameras and in total 239 HD cameras on the band and audience.
“Being able to have access to so many different forms of technology and equipment for this shoot not only allowed me to capture Creed in a way never done before, it gives the viewers angles they would never otherwise be able to see,” he said in a statement.
239 cameras also sets a new record for most cameras ever used to capture one concert.
‘Full Circle’ is the first Creed album in seven years.
