Janet Jackson opened the American Music Awards with a medley of her greatest hits.
The Janet performance was all about Janet this time. At the MTV Video Music Awards in September it was all about her late brother Michael. (She did throw a bit of his ‘Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough’ in though).Janet Jackson has just released her double CD ‘The Best’ and this performance was about focusing on the hits.
The medley opened with ‘Miss You Much’ and included ‘What Have You Done For Me Lately’, ‘If’ and her new song ‘Make Me’.
Across 7 minutes, Janet delivered basically an entire set.
