Dave Grohl will be competing against Dave Grohl and Dave Grohl on the charts in coming weeks.
Grohl will have a Nirvana, a Foo Fighters and a Them Crooked Vultures album all released with the next two weeks. The Nirvana album is the eagerly awaited ‘Live At Reading’ concert from 1992. This was the show where Kurt Cobain came out in a wheel-chair. The band performed covers of Fang’s ‘The Money Will Roll In’ and Wipers ‘D-7’ that night. You’ll get them here for the very first time.
Foo Fighters ‘Greatest Hits’ was also released this week. It is exactly what it says it is with Grohl admitting its not their best songs or their favourite songs, just the hits. It features the new song ‘Wheels’.
The there is Them Crooked Vultures, Grohl’s supergroup also featuring Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age and John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin. The album will be out mid-November.
