Then last night, it was on again. We’ll have another set list for last night coming soon buy highlights were a sermon from Bono (““Here in rock & roll’s great cathedral, Madison Square Garden, think about all the pilgrims and pioneers that got us all here, the saints and the heretics, the poets and the punks that now make up the Hall of Fame blah blah blah”) with a response from Springsteen simply saying “Lets have some fun with that”.

Lou Reed played ‘Sweet Jane” and ‘White Light White Heat”, Metallica played ‘Turn The Page’ and introduced Ozzy Osbourne to the stage. Annie Lennox and Aretha Franklin performed ‘Chain of Fools’ and Lenny Kravitz then joined them for ‘Think’.

The nominees for the 2010 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are Abba, The Chantels, Jimmy Cliff, Genesis, The Hollies, Kiss, LL Cool J, Darlene Love, Laura Nyro, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Stooges and Donna Summer.
