Reports circulating that iTunes will exclusively sell the new Michael Jackson song `This Is It` plus the three unreleased demos and poem are totally false.
While iTunes will have the title track and album on sale from this Sunday, it will be not be at the expense of retail.In fact, Australian retail will have the jump on iTunes with the album going on sale tomorrow at many retailers across Australia, ahead of iTunes.
‘This Is It’ is the soundtrack to the documentary movie that hits cinemas next week for a 2-week run. Although it has not been announced, a DVD release of ‘This Is It’ is expected a few weeks later.
Another previously unreleased Jackson 5 track featuring young Michael on lead vocals has been unveiled for the forthcoming ‘I Want You Back: Unreleased Masters’ compilation through Universal.
The Universal album will feature 12 never-before released Jackson 5 tracks.
‘I Want You Back: Unreleased Masters’ will be released on November 11, 2009.
