The Beatles computer game Rock Band was the biggest selling game in the USA during September.
‘The Beatles: Rock Band’, released by Activision, featured a computerised history of the band with music from the recent remastered album series.As well as being the biggest music game of the month, more than 100,000 downloads of ‘All You Need Is Love’ sold for the game.
The remastered catalogue will be turned into games with ‘Abbey Road’ due this week and ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ and ‘Rubber Soul’ out in November.
In other Beatles news, Australian fans who missed out on the box set because the under delivery of orders should check out JB Hi-Fi from October 25. Undercover hears that 8,000 box sets have been ordered by JB Hi-Fi and should appear in stores across Australia from next week.
