Hey, hey, my, my, Keith Richards can never die ... well, now that he has been given a Rock Immortal Award.
The legendary Rolling Stones guitarist received the Rock Immortal Award at Spike TV’s Scream 2009 awards from Johnny Depp."I liked the living legend, that was all right, but immortal is even better," Keith said before receiving the award.
The show was held at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Richards received a standing ovation when he came on stage to accept the award from Depp, “his son” in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
Scream honors the best performances in fantasy, sci-fi, comics and horror.
Harrison Ford, Kate Bosworth, Morgan Freeman and Christina Ricci also attended the event.
